What makes Lapland North Destinations unique?

Authentic Lapland – Nature, Culture, and Experiences

Lapland North offers unforgettable experiences in pristine nature and rich Sámi culture. Each season brings new wonders, from the dancing Northern Lights over 200 nights a year to the Midnight Sun shining for nearly 100 summer nights.

The region is home to Finland’s largest national parks, Lemmenjoki and Urho Kekkonen, the vast Kaldoaivi wilderness, Kevo Strict Nature Reserve, the Inari Hiking Area, and over 100 named fells. Lake Inari, the largest lake in Lapland, adds to the breathtaking scenery.

Inari is the center of Sámi culture, with the Sámi Museum Siida, and Sámi cultural center Sajos. Utsjoki has a Sámi majority, and the Skolt Sámi villages Sevettijärvi and Nellim are also located here.

The area’s unique northern location, close to Kirkenes in Norway and the shores of the Arctic Ocean, adds a sense of remoteness and true Arctic charm, making Lapland North Destinations a one-of-a-kind destination.
