Youth and Nature Tourism Centre Vasatokka is located in the village of Riutula, just 10 kilometres from the village centre of Inari. We are open all year round. You are welcome to visit us with a group or as a smaller party. You can be accommodated in our cozy cabins or budget-friendly hostel rooms. The unique wilderness areas, fells, and rich local culture of Lapland give our activities their distinctive character.
Spectacular lakeside surroundings at the edge of the wilderness
The breathtaking lake scenery on the shores of Lake Muddusjärvi, at the edge of the Muotkatunturi Wilderness Area, provides our youth centre with an exceptional setting. The vast Lake Inarijärvi and the fish-rich Juutua River also offer excellent opportunities for various activities. Lemmenjoki National Park is our close neighbour.
Serving visitors all year round
Youth groups, school camps, families, and individual travellers will find Vasatokka to be an excellent northern base.
At Vasatokka, you can organise a wide range of events, celebrations, holidays, and gatherings. Vasatokka is also an excellent venue for weddings and special occasions, with enough accommodation capacity for larger groups. Restaurant services for groups, by request.
