Our husky experiences are among the most appreciated in the Lapland North region. Guests can meet our friendly dogs, join peaceful husky walks through the forest or, in winter, experience safe and family-friendly husky sledding on scenic snowy routes. Children get to experience real mushing with 1-2 dogs and appropriate sized sleds, creating memories that stay with them long after their trip.
Alongside huskies, Ilonka welcomes visitors to meet other farm animals and explore a small nature trail that introduces the quiet magic of the northern forest. At our Kota Cafe guests can enjoy homemade treats, warm drinks and simple, comforting food prepared with care. The glow of the fire, the scent of smoke and the taste of something freshly baked create a cozy atmosphere that brings people together and deepens the experience.
Ilonka also offers atmospheric sauna experiences and opportunities for overnight stays in a cozy cabin or during summer time a simple tent, and seasonal activities that follow the rhythms of Lapland.
