High Hill Horses is a local family-run company offering private horseback adventures of various lengths with no age limits.

Come ride Finnhorses through the peaceful landscapes of Lapland! High Hill Horses is a local family-run company offering private horseback adventures of various lengths with no age limits. Families with children are especially welcome: the smallest riders are safely led, and all routes are chosen according to each rider’s skill level. Experienced riders can enjoy energetic stretches in winter snow and on summer sand trails.

We offer year-round excursions ranging from 1-hour lead-rein rides to full-day adventures. Looking for something truly unique? On our overnight trek, you ride across quiet hills and wetlands to a wilderness cabin, where your evening includes a sauna, campfire time, and delicious food — prepared by a wilderness chef if you wish. After breakfast and caring for the horses, you return to the stable while taking in the beautiful Lapland scenery.

Trips to the cabin can also be arranged without horses; snowmobile transport is available for both people and gear. Sauna visits and northern-lights excursions are also possible — just ask!
