What is Travel Utsjoki?

Travel Utsjoki is a travel company owned by a Sámi reindeer herder and his family. Travel Utsjoki offers safe, responsible and regenerative travel services in Utsjoki and the surrounding Paistunturi Wilderness Area, in the Northernmost corner of the EU. Travel Utsjoki is owned by locals and all guides are locals, to provide genuine local experiences for travelers.

What services do we have?

Travel Utsjoki has a year-round selection of guided activities and transfer services in Utsjoki region, and we also offer tailored holiday packages for individual families or small groups. With Travel Utsjoki, you can experience the spectacular Northern nature during all 8 yearly seasons, feed our reindeer with us on the fells, participate in a guided walking or snowshoeing tour in the wilderness, train with professional racing huskies and hear about the geological history of the area, be amazed by the northern lights and bright stars on the sky and learn about the traditional Sámi reindeer herding culture in Utsjoki region. We offer services for both domestic and international travelers, for all ages and fitness levels, and we are happy to tailor our programs to suit also guests with mobility impairments.
