We provide guided fishing trips, as well as boat rentals for those who want to explore the Varangerfjord on their own. The fjord offers excellent opportunities to catch cod, halibut and other Arctic species.

Culinary experiences and cooking classes

Food is a central part of our concept. Through hands-on cooking classes, guests get the chance to work with fresh, local ingredients — including Arctic king crab — while learning about regional food traditions and culture.

Sauna raft

Available from May to October, our sauna raft combines adventure and relaxation. Enjoy the warm sauna with views of the Varangerfjord, followed by a refreshing dip in the cold, clear water — a memorable Arctic experience.

Sauna Cuisine

For guests seeking a deeper cultural experience, our Sauna Cuisine program offers a full-day combination of sauna, bathing in the Varangerfjord, and a three-course dinner inspired by local ingredients and traditions. The experience includes storytelling about Bugøynes and transport to and from Kirkenes.
