The gate to the UK National Park is located in our yard, from where easy and demanding hiking trails, ski trails and winter routes start. Explore our snow covered ancient fells and serene taiga forests safely on guided tours. After a day outdoors you can enjoy the warmth of our legendary smoke sauna and take a refreshing dip in the cold fell creek water.

Accommodation
Hotel Niilanpää offers 34 rooms. In addition to twin rooms, the hotel has triple and quadruple rooms. Suomen Latu Kiilopää’s cabins provide the perfect setting for an active nature holiday. All the cabins are located 120-500 metres from the main building in Kiilopää, and each of them has a sauna. In the log cabins, there is a bedroom and a sofa bed, and in the wilderness cabins, there are bunk beds for four.
Suomen Latu Kiilopää holiday apartments are located within walking distance of Kiilopää’s services. There are several sizes of holiday apartments, from two-bed holiday apartments to ten-bed holiday apartments. The Ahopää hostel has seven rooms of different sizes, where single beds can be booked from the women’s or men’s dorms.
Our caravan park provides year-round places for caravans. There are eight electric places and 4 basic places.
Restaurants
The Kiilopää café-restaurant is a great place to take a break from hiking and skiing. You can choose from sweet and savoury snacks, a tasty buffet lunch and a varied dinner.
The atmospheric Kammiravintola ála carté menu offers Lapland delicacies, burgers and pizzas. There is a lovely view of the Kiilopuro stream from the window, and seats for 40 people.
Maahinen is an atmospheric peat bog in the Kiilopää yard, where we host our weekly pancake evenings. The space is ideal for small parties, meetings, and get-togethers.
Kuurakaltio smoke sauna
Suomen Latu Kiilopää’s atmospheric smoke sauna and swimming place in fellstream Kiilopuro guarantee complete relaxation after a day of excursions. The public shifts are open to everyone and tickets are released for current and following week. The smoke sauna can also be reserved for private use.

Our weekly program includes a wide range of activities such as snowshoeing, skiing, biking, and guided hikes.
