Saariselkä Ski & Sport Resort is the northernmost ski resort in Europe and we have an award-winning ski school. Its runs on two fells – Kaunispää & Iisakkipää – offer multiple choices for skiers and boarders of all levels. The famous 2-kilometer-long toboggan run attracts both tourists and locals, especially due it’s illuminated Aurora Experience-light art.
During the summer, the resorts services remains diverse. Bike Park serves cycling enthusiasts in the form of both a bike rental and a bikeshop, as well as caravanners with various overnight packages. Restaurant Lieggâ Láávu serves guests as a substation restaurant in winter and as a café in summer. Minigolf-round will keep you busy for a while and our brand new riverside sauna by river Luttojoki offers relaxation after a bike ride.
Saariselkä Ski & Sport Resort offers a variety of guided tours from snowshoeing to cross country skiing and cycling. A wide range of different rental equipment is available from the rental shop during both summer and winter. The award-winning ski school offers professional instruction to the world of downhill skiing and snowboarding for all skill levels and ages.
Saariselkä is located in the municipality of Inari, along Highway E4 (E75). One of Finland’s largest national parks, Urho Kekkonen National Park, is in the immediate vicinity of Saariselkä, offering great nature hiking & trekking opportunities. You can easily reach Saariselkä by plane, bus or car. The nearest airport, Ivalo, is about a 20-minute bus ride from Saariselkä.
