We pick you up from Inari to our home in remote village of Tirro, where sleigh ride begins. Our glass roof sleigh is wind proof and heated so you can enjoy long safari in shelter. Winter clothing is still needed, though. Our journey goes through ancient boreal forest where we explore tracks of wild life. Elks,
capercaillies, hares, foxes and willow grouses are living in the forest and lake shores.
Finally sleigh ride takes us to a beautiful lake nearby, where we learn local way of winter fishing under the ice cover. We enjoy campfire lunch and coffee/tea before we ride to a local farm with reindeer. On the farm you learn about reindeer and get the chance to feed the reindeer yourself.
Know before you go
Although our sleigh is heated, please get dressed by weather and wear warm shoes.
The route we drive with sleigh can be slightly bumpy, so we drive at slow pace. The sleigh has padded seats and safety belts. However, if you are pregnant or have e.g. back or hip problems, we recommend consulting your physician about your ability to participate in the activity.
Children must be accompanied by a parent.
PRIVATE GROUP BOOKING: Sleigh ride and winter net fishing are private, but we might meet other people at reindeer owner's home. However, we stay outside and can keep safety distances.

What do I need to bring?
We highly recommend you bring your own camera and/or binoculars. Please wear warm winter clothing and boots.
