The Iisakkipää is the local mountain of Saariselkä in the region Inari Saariselkä in northern Lapland. Beautiful views over Finnish Lapland and typical landscape forms are presented to us in the only two-hour nature trail.

From the village of Saariselkä a broad, well-marked trail leads over the brooks only slightly to the fjell of the Iiskkipää, where only softwoods continue along our path, above 350 m but only the forest-free steppe which is then characterized by the Erikastauden typical for Lapland, Bilberries and ground birch plants.The descent leads around the mountain and shows us the barren beauty of the Lappian mountains.

For the summit, a warm jacket and cap pack, as even in the summertime up here a cool wind blows.
