Renniina Reindeer Family & Workshop

We are six persons Sámi reindeer herder family living nearby Inari village center. We have some reindeer taken care of in winter time, usually from November to March. You can meet and feed our reindeer and also take some photos of them at our reindeer fence, which is located few kilometres away from our home. Same time we tell you about reindeer and their life, but also our everyday life, reindeer herding life and culture.

You also have opportunity to take part on local handicraft workshop! As materials we use local traditional way made reindeer leather, sisna, and local reindeer antlers, but we also have an option to use wool yarn.

At our reindeer farm we sell local handicrafts, which we have made of reindeer leather and antlers. We also sell reindeer meat and antlers as well as air-dried reindeer hides for outdoor use.

Our reindeer farm is part of the Sustainable Travel Finland programme.
