High Hill Horses

High Hill Horses is a local family run horse ranch offering unforgettable trail riding experiences with the calm national treasure, the Finnhorse, in the spectacular landscapes of Lapland.

We have always private groups; no age limits or skill requirements. The smallest children are led on horseback. The pace and trail route are adjusted according to the riders’ skill level. High Hill Horses offer horseback trips of all lenghts for almost all ages.

How does it sound to ride through silent forests to a small wilderness cabin, let the horses rest in paddock, and sit by a campfire after a sauna enjoying the tranquility?
Overnight horseback trips to the wilderness cabin are available year-round. In winter, you might witness the Northern Lights, while in summer you can enjoy the Midnight Sun.
During winter, transport to the cabin is also possible by snowmobile sleigh. Don’t hesitate to ask for more details! Overnight trips are tailored to your wishes, with various dining options available.

High Hill Horses is located between Saariselkä (20km) and Ivalo Airport (5km). Local buses also pass by us. The bus stop is called Tolonen th.
