HUNTING ACTIVITIES
We are located in the Northern part of Finland, where you can still experience the authentic true wilderness and untouched nature. We have a total of 13, 000 hectares of private hunting area reserved for our private use.
MOOSE AND BEAR HUNTING WITH BARKING DOGS
In Finland, moose and bear hunting is performed with the help of dogs that seek, follow, and try to stop and keep the moose still by barking. This form of hunting has a very long tradition in Finland. The cooperation between the dog and its owner has to be flawless. It is also an excellent form of hunting for a wider group offering a truly extraordinary experience you will never forget.
BIRD HUNTING WITH BARKING OR POINTING DOG
Pointing bird dogs are used both in the treeless upper fells and in the lower parts of deep Scandinavian forests. Sneaking up to the bark of a Finnish Spitz which is barking for a bird at a tree branch is an exciting experience. The main target birds are willow grouse, black grouse, and capercaillie.

PHOTOGRAPHY TOURS
Capture the amazing Northern Lights and rare Arctic animals in their natural habitat. The untouched nature above the Arctic Circle is harsh yet beautiful and perfect to be captured with our experienced guides. If you are lucky, you might face capercaillies, grouses, ptarmigans, mooses, wolves, wolverines, bears, or even an arctic fox! Depending on the season, you might also experience the magic of the nightless nights with our experienced outdoor photographer who will guide you throughout the trip.
FISHING AT LAKES, FREE-FLOWING RIVERS, STREAMS AND AT THE ARCTIC SEA
Fishing an arctic char, wild salmon, grayling, and trout from the free-flowing crystal-clear waters is a wonderful experience. “The sea of Lapland”, lake Inari, free-flowing arctic rivers, and small streams of Tundra are fishermen’s paradise. The amazing Arctic Sea is within the two-hour radius and easily accessible both from our wilderness huts and partnership accommodation. At the Arctic Sea, we take our customers fishing for halibut, cod, and many other exotic species in the breathtaking scenery.

The cuisine of Lapland is built around the purest and most natural ingredients as fresh fish, game, reindeer, and berries. Foraging is a key part of every finns life. Food prepared from these natural super ingredients is enjoyed in front of a fire surrounded by friends. And yes: we do not forget the full experience and always offer you a refreshing sauna before the dinner is served!

You can choose to stay in one of our partner hotels close to nature or at one of our high-quality wilderness private cabins. One of the most special places is our wilderness hut Birke located in the open tundra far away from the noise and fuzz of the urban areas. Staying at Birke is something special and a unique experience, this place is also the best one to choose for viewing Auroras as they only show up when there’s no external light pollution. Only silence and northern lights surround you and you can feel the time stop and become irrelevant.
