Preparation and Skills: Please note that this is a fairly demanding packraft & SUP adventure. Participants need to be familiar with packrafting and long distance SUP boarding and have a Finnish MELOJA-1 qualification or equivalent skill level, as preferrably well as some experience with level 1-2 rapid-paddling. If you are unsure of your skills, please get in touch with us for any questions you may have. We can provide the necessary training before the trip to ensure your skill set matches the requirements.

Safety: For your safety, the consumption of alcohol is prohibited before and during the activity. For every rapid, we will analyze the conditions and make decisions on whether to paddle the rapids or pass them by carrying the SUP boards or packrafts along the river banks. This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Clothing and Gear: We will spend all of our time outdoors on this trip. Whether it's summer or another season, make sure to bring warm and fully waterproof clothing. You should have enough clothes to keep dry and to change into if needed. Prepare to get wet while paddling. For paddling, we recommend wearing a drysuit (e.g., Ursuit MPS), wetsuit of 3-5mm, or clothing designed for paddling. Other fully waterproof clothing, such as Gore-Tex, is also suitable. We will carry all our equipment with us.

Weather Conditions: Depending on water levels (heavy rains, flooding of the river), we might need to adjust the dates or cancel the trip. Your safety is our priority, and we will keep you informed of any changes.
