Hiking Urho Kekkosen national park

We would be pleased to take you to one of the largest national park in Finland, to the Urho Kekkonen National park (UK-National park). We pick up you from your hotel in Saariselkä Resort or Ivalo village and drive to Kiilopää Fell resprt. We start to hike from Kiilopää Fell Centre, from one of the gates to the national park. On the top of the Kiilopää Fell you could see over the UK-National Park, and on the good weather even to Russia side. We pass by beautiful Kiilopää Fell, unique spillways of geological Jääjärvi Ice Lake, one of the most popular day-hike destination the Rumakuru Gorge and Ahopää Fell. We enjoy picnic outdoors or depending on weather in the wilderness cottage. After the picnic we return to the Kiilopää Fell Centre and drive by car back to your hotel. The day´s hiking route is quite easy to hike.
