Not in the mood for skiing today? No problem! Tobogganing on the light art illuminated 1.8 km toboggan track is a must for everyone!

Experience the magic of polar night and toboggan down the longest toboggan slope in Finland! In the guided version of Aurora Tobogganing package, you will have one guided run with our instructor to have a safe start for your tobogganing experience. The activity starts with a chair lift ride to the top of fell Kaunispää, from where Saariselkä’s city lights open in front of your eyes as a sea of sparkling lights. The toboggan slope is now illuminated with light art, just follow the aurora lights that guide you back down to the valley.

Aurora Tobogganing is possible only during lift operation hours, please check www.skisaariselka.com. The Aurora Experience light art illumination can be best experienced during polar night season in December and January, when it is dark also during daytime. After days become longer after mid January, the aurora lights are only on during night skiing days.
