Drive through the white wilderness to enjoy ice fishing on a frozen lake
The trail on this snowmobile safari takes you to the north of Saariselkä to a remote lake. Here you'll have a chance to drill a hole through the ice and try out your fishing skills! The catch may even be the jewel of Lapland's crystal waters; the Arctic char. Later on, you can enjoy a snack by the campfire and have the opportunity to fry the fresh fish you just caught.

Please notice that the pick-up time for the safari is different from start time and depends on your accommodation. We kindly ask you to check carefully the correct pick-up time from your ticket.
Each snowmobile is shared by two guests taking turns in driving. The driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license valid in Finland. Driving a motorized vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs is prohibited by the laws of Finland.
Child price entitles children to a seat in a sled pulled by a snowmobile driven by the guide. Children over 140 cm in height are allowed to sit on the snowmobile behind an adult, when paying the adult price. Note that children under 2 years are not suitable to take part on snowmobile and husky safaris. Lapland Safaris North Ltd reserves the right to deny the participation of small children due to safety reasons (e.g. demanding weather or trail conditions).
This safari is co2 compensated from the snowmobile fuel emission .
Self liability can be reduced to €150 by paying waiver supplement € 20 per safari driver.
Solo riding possibility. Supplement for solo riding 50 € / person.
