First Aid Course (First Aid 1) in Ivalo

First Aid Course 1 is a one-day training program that equips participants with the skills to act correctly in emergencies, as well as in common medical conditions and accident situations.

This basic first aid course is suitable for anyone who wants to acquire first aid skills for workplaces, schools, or leisure activities. No prior first aid knowledge is required to participate.

The course covers emergency first aid, including CPR for adults, children, and infants. Additionally, participants will learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), control bleeding, treat shock, and provide first aid for common injuries such as fractures and burns. The course also addresses pediatric emergencies, including choking, asthma attacks, and allergic reactions.

Upon completion, participants receive a certificate valid for 24 months. Xwander Academy’s First Aid Course 1 follows the international EFR (Emergency First Response) system  and meets the standards of the Finnish Red Cross (SPR) first aid courses.
