The avalanche safety course is an entry-level training that requires no prior experience and is suitable for anyone moving in winter terrain. The course focuses on practical learning, covering route selection, risk analysis, and avalanche forecast interpretation. Participants will learn how to use avalanche safety gear (beacon, probe, and shovel) and practice companion rescue.
