Join us for a winter adventure day in the UKK National Park in Saariselkä. Learn about the area's unique flora and fauna from our knowledgeable guide while trekking through the terrain on snowshoes. There will be ample opportunities to take photos, identify local birdlife, animals and discover their tracks in the snow.

Know before you go
- Family Friendly: This experience is family-friendly with a recommended age of 10 years. We can however provide easier hiking options for participants with smaller children
- Clothing and Gear: Warm clothing and suitable winter gear are essential. Overalls, warm boots, and gloves are provided if needed, but it's advisable to dress in layers
- A temperature limit of -25°C: If the forecast for the day is colder / weather conditions unsuitable, we will cancel and/or reschedule the trip. There is no additional fee in case the trip is cancelled by Xwander
What do I need to bring?
- Warm Clothes: Dress in weather appropriate layers including a good hat, scarf, and socks
- Phone/camera, power bank if needed
