Rental snowshoes and route tips in Utsjoki

Utsjoki is a perfect location for exploring the nature. You can start on a marked trail right by the village, or explore the unmarked trails in the wilderness. During the snow-covered season, the snowshoes are needed to walk on thick snow. Using snowshoes is almost as easy as normal walking, so no need to be an experienced skier to explore the nature with snowshoes! We will give you a brief instruction how to use the snowshoes and also advice nice routes to explore. Snowshoe rental is for full day, so you can pick them up from our storage at Tenontie 114 in the morning and return in the evening, or ask for special offer for multiday/week rental.

We have TSL snowshoes for more uneven terrain, and Haghus snowshoes for deeper and softer snow.  We also have children´s and juvenile snowshoes that you can request.
