At the Edge of the Fells

This tour takes you through landscapes where nature’s forces converge. We begin with an ascent along the slopes of Kiilopää toward Niilanpää. From there, we head to Teräväkivenpää, where you’ll stand at the headwaters of northern rivers, on a watershed dividing rivers flowing to the Bothnian Bay and the Arctic Ocean.

After taking in the breathtaking views, we descend to the Niilanpää reindeer cabin and return to Kiilopää. This journey combines the rugged beauty of the fells with fascinating stories of nature’s own watersheds.
