Midnight Sun Yoga Retreat
At the Midnight Sun Yoga Retreat, you will experience a journey that renews your consciousness through nature walks, nature exercises, yoga, breathing exercises, meditations and other exercises to awaken your inner light.
During the retreat, we combine yoga exercises and nature hikes into a unified experience. Here we will walk in impressive natural beauty spots on fells, gorges and forests between trails. Charming flowers and summer plants will enchant you as the song of the golden plover leads us along our paths. You can hug pine trees that are many centuries old. Feel the earth under your feet as we walk barefoot. We meditate in nature and feel the energy of the earth. You will learn about nature and yourself.
Yoga and breathing exercises form the backbone of the retreat, alternating with more meditative moments and mindfulness exercises in nature. Breathing exercises are like active meditation, where we consciously connect with our breath. It balances our inner world by connecting the mind with the body’s senses. In these exercises, we reset and recharge our systems. We build mental resilience and become empowered.
In the mornings, we do gentle yoga exercises that awaken the body and increase energy, which strengthen the core and open the chest area, deepening breathing and flexing the back. In the evenings, we will have yin yoga exercises to restore from the day. Asana exercises strengthen and flex the body.
The trips take you up and down the fells outside the trails, basking in the midsummer sun. Day trips are approximately 10-15 kilometers.

Price includes the course program, shared hotel accommodation with full board (from dinner on the day of arrival to breakfast on the morning of departure, snacks/lunch according to the program), evening sauna daily, smoke saunas, and equipment rental according to the program.
If the group so wishes, there is the opportunity to spend one night in the countryside in tents. Equipment rental is an additional 15 € per person, including a tent and stove for two people. In addition, 40 € for a sleeping bag, mat and backpack, you can also bring your own sleeping bag, mat and backpack. Please familiarize yourself with the booking and cancellation terms in advance.
Target group for the retreat: Anyone interested in yoga and their own well-being. The course involves moving in nature, even off the trails, and daily physical yoga exercises. Good basic fitness is required.
Course equipment: basic day trip equipment, hiking shoes or sneakers (possibly rubber boots if it’s a rainy summer), backpack, thermos, hiking food and drinks in a thermos. Suitable clothing – also warm clothing. Yoga mat, if you have one, mats can also be borrowed. Casual, flexible training clothes, note-taking equipment, a blanket for final relaxation, walking poles – if you have one and want to take them with you. They can also be found at Kiilopää.
