During Kiilopää Trail Running Week, 4–11 July 2026, Suomen Latu’s experienced trail running instructors will guide you on running adventures into the wilderness of the fells. You can choose the length and difficulty of your daily run according to how you feel that day. Options range from short runs of just a few kilometres to marathon-length trail runs, with daily distances varying between 5 km and 40 km.
During the week, you will also practise trail running techniques in different types of terrain, learn navigation skills, and enjoy sauna sessions and body maintenance exercises.
Trail Running Week offers a strong sense of community for both beginners and experienced trail runners. The programme also suits active families, and children under 12 can join the runs together with a parent. Daily runs vary in length, but the pace is always relaxed, combining running and walking. The level of difficulty is determined by distance, not speed.
