Border Dance Celebrating the Anniversaries of Two Municipalities!
Welcome to celebrate the 150th anniversaries of Inari and Utsjoki at the Border Dance!
The municipalities of Inari and Utsjoki are both celebrating their 150th anniversaries in 2026. To mark the occasion, a joint Border Dance will be held at Kaamasen Kievari on Friday, 11 September, starting at 18:00.
Enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional Finnish dance evening with live music by Juha Portti & Golden River. The event is open to all ages until 21:00, after which the evening continues with karaoke into the early hours – until 01:30 if there are enough participants. The karaoke has an age limit of 18.

Free bus transportation to Kaamasen Kievari is available from Ivalo via Inari, as well as from Nuorgam via Utsjoki and Karigasniemi. Return buses will depart from Kaamasen Kievari at 21:00, following the same routes.
