The Ohcejohka Šearrá Cultural Festival will be held in Utsjoki for the fifth time!
The renewed Ohcejohka Šearrá festival, which celebrates and showcases Sámi culture in all its diversity, will take place over two days during the Midsummer weekend. The event will be held beside the Sámi Bridge, in the stunning scenery of the Teno River, at Onnela’s riverbank in Utsjoki (Nuorgamintie 1, Utsjoki).
The festival lineup features Etta, one of the leading names in Finnish rap, alongside some of the brightest stars of Sámi music: VEGARD, Ailu Valle, Amoc, Rávggon, Jalvvi Niillas and Pauli Lyytinen, Ánnámáret, and Jezebro. The program also includes a Sámi-language stand-up performance by Aleksi Ahlakorpi, as well as films and traditional joik singing.
