AT Nature is a small family business offering activities and accommodation near the Muotkatunturi wilderness in Inari. AT Nature is the first company in the Lapland North Destinations (LND) tourist area to receive the Sustainable Travel Finland label from Visit Finland for our responsible tourism activities. AT Nature is also the first company in the LND tourist area to be approved as a member of the ECEAT Finland Ecotourism Association.

ACTIVITIES

AT Nature offers activities year-round. Our groups are small or even private, which is ideal for families traveling with children. On our trips, you will get to know, among other things, the nature of Lapland, its superfoods, Finnish traditions, and the peace and tranquility of the region. We guide both in Finnish and English. We can also guide private trips in German.

ACCOMMODATION

Our LapinTintti Eco-Cabin offers a peaceful and relaxing experience for all nature enthusiasts. The cabin has a wood-heated sauna, a water-saving shower and tap, and an environmentally friendly composting toilet. The cabin has a stove and large north-facing windows, which are perfect for admiring the northern lights. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, and induction stove. The beds are located in the loft. In addition, there is a sofa bed in the cabin. The electricity used in the cabin is renewable.

We live close to the cabin, but the small forest between the buildings provides shelter for both parties. We have no light pollution, so the cabin environment is ideal for photographing the night sky and the northern lights. The cabin is located in the middle of diverse habitat types, creating a varied setting for nature enthusiasts and photographers. Nearby is a pine forest with trees hundreds of years old, forest ponds, a bog, and a young coniferous forest (over 70 years old). Common visitors to our bird feeding areas include the Siberian Tit, the Siberian Jay, and the Pine Grosbeak.
