Northern Lapland Nature Centre of Metsähallitus organizes together with Øvre Pasvik National Park Administration, a 10-year jubilee Hike of the Piilola Trail from 30 August to 1 September 2019. The hike starts from the Finnish side of Vätsäri Wilderness Area and ends in Øvre Pasvik National Park in Norway.
Participants will be responsible for their hiking equipment and their hiking food themselves. Accommodation will be done in own tents. If you wish to share your tent or a cooker with another participant, the hiking organizer will try to help you. The hiking trip is steered, but the participants operate on their own risk during the hike. We accept 24 hikers from Finland and 24 hikers from Norway.

Participants will be charged € 50 fee and it will include lunch on the day of departure in Nellim and on the day of return lunch and sauna in Norway. The charge also includes bus transfers from Kirkenes to Nellim before hiking and after hiking from the Upper Pasvik National Park to Ivalo.
