A brief visit to the Sámi culture and lifestyle. Visit the reindeer farm, go out for a short reindeer drive and find out about Sámi culture and reindeer herding.
When entering the Reindeer Farm, we shall go first for a short reindeer drive and feed our furry friends with lichen. We shall also practice our skills to catch a reindeer with a traditional rope “suohpán”. After seeing reindeer we shall enter to a Lappish wooden hut – “kota” where the hot drinks with muffins will be served. We shall hear about the Sámi culture and reindeer herding. Please, do not hesitate to ask if you have questions in mind.
Here at the reindeer farm we can realize that we do not always need to be in a hurry, but relax and enjoy the moment. Imagine, how peaceful and quiet the nature can be!
